The best part of traveling is the food. This BBQ brisket stuffed potato is from Heinze BBQ in Sealy, TX. If you ever get a chance to eat there, it’s highly recommended.
Try not to drool on the keyboard, Oppo.

I originally tried to post this from the road yesterday, but Kinja got in the way. The new photo rights tools weren’t working correctly (iOS, Chrome) and I couldn’t assign rights. It wouldn’t even let me save a draft with the photo so that I could finish as soon as I got home. I had to remove the photo from the post on my phone, save the draft, open the draft on my computer, then add the photo in again.
That sucks.

I’m with you on missing the food while traveling! I haven’t left my state in over 5 months now...

We miss good tex-mex and BBQ. We tried some local “Texas Style” BBQ here in Baton Rouge and were sorely disappointed. We have a couple of mexican places we eat at, but the owners are both from different parts of Mexico and their recipes don’t taste like what we get back home.

I’ve only had Texas Pit BBQ once in Austin and it was definitely tasty!
